Devil Sold His Soul with more djenty grooves? Johari are so much more. As one of the most interesting newcomers in 2015, they came around with amazing clean vocals and a really good intuition for atmosphere!

My expectations were high, but Agent Fresco made a huge step above it and delivered one of the best records of 2015 and of the last few years. It would be easy to say Arnòr Dan‘s vocals make it special, but it’s just a part of the musical masterpiece called “Destrier”. Do yourself a favor and listen to this record. Endless repeat.

A real diamond. Harnessing The Universe’s debut record is timeless and amazing. Between Tool, Pink Floyd, Mastodon, and Kyuss, this record is the perfect soundtrack for your next trip. I’ve no idea why these guys have only 185 likes on Facebook. Majestic!

I can’t get enough of these crazy-good Alternative/Prog Rock bands. While I’m struggling to get into the new Dead Letter Circus album, Guards Of May was an instant win. First listening, loving it. Catchy, epic and the right proggy touch! Extraordinary song recommendation: “The Rest Of Them”

Oh David. You breathe creativity. After the amazing “Bilo” trilogy and Destiny Potato‘s “Lun”, David Maxim Micic unleashed the progtastic double EP “EGO|ECO”, and it’s amazing, as usual.

I’ve never heard of this band before, but these tunes are pure gold. So many great compositions, amazing vocals, and versatile songwriting. Ebonivory shine with a very organic sound, and you have to follow these dudes in the future!

Electronic music is a strange genre. There are tons of artists, outputs, and tracks. But it’s rare to discover something with creativity and passion without this “I have no idea what I’m doing, let’s put some beats together” mindset. The possibilities are endless with electronic music and it’s good to hear someone who realizes that.

The best word to describe this record: Exciting. Every song is full of joy, creativity, and energy. It’s a journey, don’t miss this!

Artist: Burn The Iris

Album: Ionosphere

Genre: Progressive /Post Metal

Release date: 25th August

Personal rating: 7/10

The cover looks like “Precambrian” by The Ocean, and that’s everything you have to know about the music. The vocals, the atmosphere, the sound. The Ocean is omnipresent with Burn The Iris, and that isn’t a bad thing. If they manage to progress their sound in the future, this band could be one of the most interesting Post Metal acts out there!

Drowning and sinking into the sea; Nautical Doom Metal at its best, German sailors Ahab released their new record and it’s MASSIVE. Beautiful clean passages go hand in hand with ultra-heavy doomy sections. One of the best (more classic) Metal records of 2015!
