I loved Josh Scogin-era Norma Jean and I love Cory Brandan’s vocals, but I was never a big fan of the newer Norma Jean material. Maybe the crown of their early days lies a bit too heavy, but fuck all of this, I love this Hundred Suns album. Without the connotation of the name, this embraces to an amazing experience!

I listened to a lot of music on my vacation in Norway for the last two weeks, but nothing was on a heavier rotation than this masterpiece. After their critically acclaimed debut album The Positions, Australian indie rockers Gang Of Youths with an album which will be a strong contender for my AOTY list at the end of 2017.
