WHAT’S THE SOUND OF…FEBRUARY?!

Did 2016 also start so strong? I can’t remember anymore, but 2017 is A BLAST so far. The combination of great bands releasing great new albums and new bands releasing great débuts is just…uhm….great. So with no further ado, here are my favorite records of February 2017!

It’s weird that the metal world isn’t talking about this band. This power trio from Belgium delivers an outstanding performance on this record, moving between Kylesa, Every Time I Die and new Oathbreaker.

They’ve written one of my favorite songs of all time with “Moribund Town”, and now they are finally back with a new record. Kellermensch are one of these hiddem gems which should get way more attention. This band is just a really fascinating “Isis meets The Cure” mixture, with tons of originality on top.
