And here we go with another wave of newly announced bands for 2018’s edition of Brutal Assault festival!
American death metal band Carnifex are back in full force and will, together with Polish death metalers Hate and the brutal gentlemen in Dying Fetus, provide some very, very heavy tunes in the fortress of Jaromer! But there will also be some hardcore going on, since Counterparts are the line-up. The boys in Northlane will come and play some heavy and catchy tunes, while Nasty will showcase their very minimalistic beatdown music. Something to party, or at least lose your head to! In addition to those acts, there will be Hirax and Diablo Swing Orchestra performing.
All those bands could have been found out on a crossword puzzle that Brutal Assault posted yesterday. A very creative and effectful way to spoiler some announcements, chapeau! As we didn’t write about the second bandwave at the time it was announced, we got the following bands on the festival’s line-up as well:
Ministry are coming back after a two-year pause since their last Brutal Assault. The guys in Saint Vitus will also be playing, as well as Blood Incantation, Origin, Broken Hope and Aluk Todolo. The festival also announced one of its very headliners: heading from Poland to play an exclusive show in the Czech Republic in 2018, there will be none other than the allmighty death metal kings in Behemoth!
Other than the ones already announced, the following bands will be playing as well: At The Gates, The Black Dahlia Murder, Dead Congregation, Carpathian Forest, Korokuma, Obscure Sphinx, Novembers Doom, Pestilence, Nails, Pillorian, Protector, Misery Index, Sadistic Intent, Whoredom Fire and Pertubator (more on this here).
