NEWS: Between The Buried And Me To Release “Coma Ecliptic Live”

Well, it’s not the anticipated Colors ten-year anniversary tour, but something else worth your timeWe already had Colors and The Parallax II as live releases, but now Between The Buried And Me are taking the next logical step: the prog metal gods from North Carolina just announced the release of a new live DVD/Bluray/CD. This time, it’s the band’s latest addition to their discography, Coma Ecliptic, that’s getting the live album treatment! When releasing this record in 2015, the band shaped a more modern prog rock/metal sound for themselves, especially with the addition of even more clean vocals and synthesizers.

Dan Briggs, bassist of Between The Buried And Me, states:

“The genesis of the ‘Coma Ecliptic’ filming was based around capturing the look and feel of the show our lighting director Chris Hill produced for the full album set. It’s such an important record for us and our progression as a band and the visual representation captures the moods of our tragic tale so well. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the last two years we’ve been living with this album day in and day out!”

Beside DVD/Bluray and CD there will be some special edition LP’s:

-180g black 2LP
-golden yellow marble 2LP (limited to 300 copies – EU exclusive)
-ultra violet marble 2LP (limited to 200 copies – EU exclusive)
-purple/black marble 2LP (limited to 300 copies – USA exclusive)

So it looks like we can expect a lot! Make sure to mark your calendars for April 28th, the day when Coma Ecliptic: Live is going to hit your local record store. Or you can pre-order it over here! Follow Between The Buried And Me on Facebook to not miss any important news/updates.
