Exciting times! The tour will be supported by Californian instrumental math rock group Chon, which makes for a nice touring package if you ask me.

Vaxis – Act I: The Unheavenly Creatures

We have previously reported about “The Dark Sentencer”, the new single Coheed and Cambria released a while ago. Well, now we have even more information about the band’s return to The Amory Wars storyline for you! Aside from the album title (see the subheading above), we know that it’s going to be a 15-song, 78-minute epic of a record, touching on the aftermath of the events depicted in Good Apollo I’m Burning Star IV Volume 2: No World For Tomorrow. Color me excited!

The album’s tralck list has been revealed as well, in conjunction with the cover artwork. Check them out:

01. “Prologue”
02. “The Dark Sentencer”
03. “Unheavenly Creatures”
04. “Toys”
05. “Black Sunday”
06. “Queen Of The Dark”
07. “True Ugly”

Deluxe sets are already available here; standard pre-orders will become available on June 29. I can only speak for myself here, but I sure am looking forward to October 5. Coheed and Cambria are my favorite band ever, so my hopes for Vaxis – Act I: The Unheavenly Creatures are pretty high! Are you excited for the record as well? Let us know in the comments!
