It’s with great joy that we can finally say that there will be another Complexity Fest in 2018! And now that the event that takes place in the beautiful city of Haarlem, Netherlands put out the first name we can also tell you the following. It will be a two-day event! After two glorious years as a one-day festival it now got widened into two! Mark your calendars for February 23rd and 24th!
The lineup had a lot of quality to offer this year. Not only did Ihsahn perform as a headliner, also bands as Humanity’s Last Breath, Agent Fresco and Obscura had the chance to play!
But what does 2018 hold back for us?
SikTh will be part! Yes, the UK-based prog/tech metal pioneers will probably be one of the headliners. But also American death metal bangers in Carnifex will keep your heads moving. The following band might get you pumped as well: John Frum. Including (ex-)members of The Dillinger Escape Plan, John Zorn and The Faceless! Three Trapped Tigers will deliver some math rock tunes, while Nordic mayhem will reign in form of God Mother! The last announced band is atmospheric death metal outfit Ulsect, which are almost locals!
This is the official poster so far:
Those are only six bands and already worth the trip but let me tell you that it even gets better, as: there will be more bands. The tickets are up on sale for only 25 €’s which is literally nothing, even for the already announced bands. Get your tickets here and follow Complexity on Facebook!
Plan your trips and see you at Complexity!
