NEWS: The Faceless Announce European Tour

If it isn’t good enough news to see that prog death metal outfit The Faceless is coming back to Europe, it is more than awesome to see that not only the heavy-hitters in Humanity’s Last Breath are supporting them, but also our funny Danish friends in Ghost Iris! This might be the first European tour announcement for The Faceless since 2014, when they dropped off the tour with Protest The Hero. Back in the day, they got replaced bythe now-defunct The Safety Fire. Their reason for dropping off the billing alongside The Contortionist and Destrage was the difficulties around losing almost every band member.

THE TRAGIC STORY SUMMED UP

When Ewan Brewer (bass), Alex Rüdinger (drums) and Geoffrey Fico (vocals) decided to leave the band in 2014, Michael Keene was left as the sole member of The Faceless. Now, after working on new material, finding new band members (which are members of bands like The Zenith PassageHate Eternal and Abigail Williams), the band will now return overseas! They are also going to tour Australia in May!

And even more good news: This won’t be the last European run by The Faceless in 2017. As the band commented on their original Facebook post announcing this tour, they will be back for a full tour this October!

THE CURRENT LINEUP MIGHT BE:

Justin McKinney (The Zenith Passage) – guitar
Ken Sorceron (Abigail Williams, The Accuser) – vocals
Brandon Griffin (founding member of The Faceless) – bass
Michael Keene (founding member of The Faceless) – guitar
Chason Westmoreland  (Hate Eternal) – drums
