Just months after releasing a new album, New Orleans’ smashing death metal act Goatwhore have been tapped to produce a new track for Decibel Magazine’s Flexi Series. The series already has a myriad of wonderful, colorful artists on it, like KEN Mode, Khemmis, Myrkur, and Neurosis, who offered orignal tracks or unreleased demos through it. Check out Goatwhore‘s contribution, “Command to Destroy”, right here via SoundCloud!
The track is savage, even by Goatwhore standards. It gives me Crowned Unholy-era The Crown vibes with its furious drums, speedy riffing and shouted rasps. It hardly relents at all; the whole thing hits you like a ten-ton truck. Just in time to mosh with your family at Thanksgiving!
You can stream the track indefinitely, but if you want to own this exclusive track, be sure to swing by Decibel’s site to order the January issue of the magazine that comes with the vinyl flexi-disc of the song! Goatwhore can be followed on Facebook, Twitter and Bandcamp, where you can stream their latest album Vengeful Ascension. They have an official site as well, where you can see their upcoming 2018 tour dates through Europe with Fit for an Autopsy, Obscura and Sepultura.
