There is some good news for our French readership as well as anyone that plans to visit Paris very soon! We are proud to announce Heart Sound Metal Fest! The new festival in the Paris area sounds excellent, and there are some great reasons to go:
First off, this event is a charity fest; all profits made are going to be donated to a local non-profit organization supporting people who are struggling with leukemia. The festival happened in 2014 and 2015 and is now back after a year break, bigger and better than before! With a capacity of up to 900 attendants, the organizers set their goal to raise 3000 €. However, they also hope to raise awareness around leukemia and the importance of blood screening. This is essential because, where Germany has 4 million potential donors, France only has 240 thousand!
As you can probably see, this event is really something that comes from heart. Though that in itself is reason to go, the line-up for the festival is pretty stellar! Headlined by local heroes Betraying The Martyrs, we also have Uneven Structure playing, who are just about to release their new record La Partition! Acts such as Sithu Aye, Kadinja and Make Me A Donut are also set to play at this event! You will get eight quality bands and an interesting day of proggy music.
This is the full lineup:
