French shoegaze/post-rock outfit Les Discrets have some news toshare today! Their upcoming third full-length record is going to be released on April 21st and will be called Prédateurs. The record will be released via Prophecy Productions and is the follow-up to their sophomore Ariettes oublieés… from back in 2012. Five years is indeed a long period for creating new music, but it still might pay off!
Beside announcing the release itself, the band also released its tracklist, which consists of ten songs and reaches a total length of about 43 minutes. Even though there is no new single available yet, we can probably expect a dark and dreamy mix of post-rock and shoegaze-y melodies. After getting a new Alcest record last year, this is bound to be another highlight for the scene!
You can see Prédateurs‘ artwork, done by Chris Friel, below:
Minimalistic, dark but also clear and with a visible contrast: if this artwork reflects on the sound of Prédateurs we can surely expect a lot! Visit the website of Chris Friel here.
The tracklist is the following:
I – Prédateurs
II – Virée Nocturne
III – Les Amis De Minuit
IV – Vanishing Beauties
V – Fleur Des Murailles
VI – Le Reproche
VII – Les Jours D’Or
VIII – Rue Octavio Mey
IX – The Scent Of Spring (Moonraker)
X – Lyon – Paris 7h34
Hopefully we can expect a new Les Discrets song to be released very soon!
