This April, one of the UK’s finest progressive metal outfits, No Sin Evades His Gaze, hit the road again, bringing with them the awesome Kadinja. This is a great pre-festival season treat for fans of undulating groove and powerful guitar work, with both bands expected to put out some of their best performances yet. The acts will be getting an equal share of playtime, with the groups co-headlining each show.
Kadinja have recently released their debut album Ascendancy to critical acclaim (check out our review here), spanning 10 tracks of beautifully blended djent laden prog-metal, with many comparisons to bands like Monuments and SiKth. The eagerly anticipated release has drawn many new listeners to their fan club, so this should be a great set of shows to see them perform their latest material at. Here’s a taste of what to expect:
No Sin Evades His Gaze are also in new album mode, with their second album due to drop later this year. For those of you living under a rock, in comparison to Kadinja, No Sin Evades His Gaze‘s sound is much heavier and, in some ways, more dramatic. Think The Human Abstract level of fiddling, with Heart Of A Coward levels of chugs to top it off. No Sins have toured extensively across the UK and Europe since their first album, Age Of Sedation, which, much like Kadinja‘s record, was met with positive reception across the scene. Check out No Sin Evades His Gaze‘s latest single “Preacher”:
With both bands primarily touring the UK, they will also be stopping off in Germany and Switzerland to rain down the heavy there too. Expect to see plenty of new material from both bands and be sure not to miss them! Here are the tour dates so far. More are due to be added!
