While Europe is known for having some impressively large and comprehensive metal festivals, fans in Italy have had a difficult time with only a sparse handful of notable events over the last few years. Versus Music Project aims to change this with their Dissonance Festival, satiating all your metal needs in the Milan area for it’s fourth year straight. Previous years have had such heavy hitters as Between the Buried and Me, Skyharbor, and Monuments.
Running through July 1st and 2nd, the final night will be headlined by the Australian progressive metalcore act Northlane, with many more bands to be announced in the near future. A small number of shows under the banner ‘Road to Dissonance’ featuring Ghost Iris and more will be coming in late March, leading up to the climactic event in July.
