NEWS: Protest The Hero Announce Tour Supports

Well, there’s a lot of interesting, diverse and unique tours in Europe that come around in Germany, so I’m able to catch almost each show I want to visit. But, this time I’m proper jealous. Not only will Protest The Hero perform their record Fortress in full (it turns 10 years this year, yay!), they will also have some properly awesome supports!

The tour is separated in two legs, each with two supports. You will probably need to visit both. Why? Well, the first leg starts with Thank You Scientist! as an opener. Catchy tunes in between prog rock and jazz will bring a great diversity to the sound of Protest The Hero‘s earlier work. But the greatest news about this might be that Closure In Moscow will be back in the US! They will be playing First Temple in full! This might be reason enough for me to catch a plane. So what are you waiting for?

The tour dates with Thank You Scientist! and Closure In Moscow are the following:

March 21st – London, ON @ London Music Hall
March 22nd – Detroit, MI @ Shelter
March 23rd – Chicago, IL @ Bottom Lounge (Sold Out)

April 5th – San Francisco, CA @ Slim’s
April 6th – Los Angeles, CA @ The Roxy
April 7th – Anaheim, CA @ Chain Reaction

Speaking of the second wave, we have some European faces lined up. The Italian math proggers in Destrage will open this tour with their frantic tunes alongside the multi-continental rock outfit in Good Tiger, who are just about to release their new record We Will All Be Gone. How great are those support bands?
