NEWS: Rivers Of Nihil Unveil New Video For “A Home”

Where Owls Know My Name is finally here, and yes, it really has been well worth the wait! And to celebrate its release, the good people in Rivers of Nihil have dropped a new video for “A Home”. If you’re looking for an introduction to the band’s unrestrained and captivating approach to metal, then this is the perfect place to get started.

Among all the other cool stuff happening in this tune, that main riff is an irresistible hook, and it’s great watching it being played with seemingly zero effort from guitarists Brody Uttley and Jon Topore. Most may agree that metal like this needs to be ‘seen’ to be believed, so the simple band-playing-in-a-room approach to this vid really works in Rivers of Nihil‘s favor. An extra shout out to bassist Adam Biggs for the nice, albeit short, clean vocals midway into the track.

For those newcomers, “A Home” is indeed a great song, but be sure to understand that this is only a small morsel of the treats on offer in the full Where Owls Know My Name album. If this track struck a chord with you, then the best is yet to come! Check out our full It Djents album review here.
